What are Children's Eye Specialists?
Children’s Eye Specialists entail an Ophthalmologist (MD) or Optometrist (OD) that specialized in children’s eye disorders including misalignment or crossing of the eyes (strabismus), lazy eye or an eye that does not see to its full potential (amblyopia), and glasses (refractive error). Our practice also specializes in children that do not form the correct pathways from the brain to the eye (cortical visual impairment), droopy eyelids (ptosis), and excessive tearing secondary to a blocked drainage system (nasal lacrimal duct obstruction), in addition to several other ocular diseases specific to pediatrics.
